The Neo-Rangers along with Tommy & Jason Sr return to the future with the Green Candle, while still lit and on its final spent of dark magic. Zordon casts a spell to reverse the effects of the Green Candle on Tommy Jr, but is too late. Tommy Jr dies from the curse much to Tommy Sr's emotional distress along with the rest of Neo-Power team, the Neo-Dragonzord is destroyed and all seems lost. The Neo-Rangers in their grief obliterate the evil forces and quickly descend to retrieve Tommy Jr's body. But he's missing, creating a serious sense of concern among the team, who report back to Zordon and launch a search party to find their missing friend.
